RH around the house is sub 30%, but part of my plants are in a heavily planted, semi closed terrarium. I'd say around 80% in here.
Airflow is pretty good in the open air living room, and decent enough in the enclosed terrarium. I tweaked it so I can spray plants at night and the leaves are dry the next morning.

I just put in a wall of rock wool in my terrarium, hoping to get a strong moss Coating and plant some orchids into it as well. I had imagining the wicking in high humidity would be stronger, but really only climbs 15 or so cm to saturate and much less higher up. Rockwool is supposesd to be the quickest for moss growth, so fingers crossed.

Pretty sure I’m doing the 1cm ones. I sure wouldn’t call them chunks. Whatever Bill is selling is what I have been using. And for me, wouldn’t want bigger.

Great, thanks for your feedback! I'll try to get the smaller cubes, though it's been difficult to find a place than sells them in small quantities, most sell them by the pallet...

Yes, the ones marketed here as "Grodan Mini-Cubes" are the 1 cm one. I buy them in a 150L box.
Camille, I cannot say I see a problem with the plants in 100% rock wool; it's more of a "gut feeling" that they'd do better with the airier blend. Don't forget that the plants in the straight stuff were previously in sphagnum.

I was old school back in the day. Always drank straight from the bottle. Made a mark on the bottle so you didn’t get more than your fair share. I was so surprised by my daughter freezing huge cubes of spring water for the whiskey... a true millennial. Who knew they made ice cube trays like that?!?
Now I try to avoid whiskey at all costs. But if ya bring honey whiskey I’m on it. Usually results in a grand old time... a few regrets, but a hella good memory.

Your daughter can find polished stones to keep in the freezer and add to the whisky, to chill it while preventing dilution from melting ice. Extremely large diamonds work well for this. They have a high heat conductance and chill the liquid rapidly.

Around our household, when we run into something that’s really good, we assign it a prefix.
A 40 year old MacAllan Scots Whiskey, for example is “communion whiskey” - worthy of special occasions only.
It has occasionally been applied to cheeses, too.

Understood. But I’m just plebeian like that.

Finally!! Something to do with my huge diamonds!!
I don’t care who tells me what. I’ve hD all the ways to drink whiskey and I learned what I like and I like an islay with two or three ice cubes lol
The first few sips are one experience, the middle another and then a third the finish
I am NOT a sipper. The Ice cubes are almost always still there when the whiskey is gone lol
