Finally got my Kelpak! My package got hopelessly lost, and they shipped a replacement last week.
How long does it stay 'good' past the use by date Ray, assuming it's stored correctly? My bottle says good for 2 years after production, and the production date is March 2019.

They guarantee the potency for 2 years if kept at room temperature and dark, but I have seen testing that showed it was still good at double that. Refrigeration will definitely stretch that out.
I will say, however, once you see how well it works, folks have no problem using it all up well before then.

Thanks for the info, and good to know that I don't necessarily need to keep it refrigerated all the time (probably only in the summer, my fridge isn't that big). I'm curious to see the first results! I watered my plants with it yesterday, and took a bunch of photos to be able to compare with later. But if the results are as good as I see in the forum, I'll probably be using it monthy. I calculated that with my smallish collection the 1L bottle will last about 16 months, less if (when) I buy new plants.

Was just looking at the Kelpak website and came across this:
'After opening, we recommend that Kelpak be stored in a cool, dry area and be used within 3 weeks. Since Kelpak is made from a natural source, it is susceptible to microorganisms in the environment. Although these microorganisms may grow on/in Kelpak after opening, the beneficial activity of the product remains intact for long periods of time, however, clogging of irrigation or spray equipment may occur if fungal growth does occur.'
After opening, we recommend that Kelpak be stored in a cool, dry area and be used within 3 weeks. ??

I think that may be a translational issue. Can you share the link, please? I'll take it up with the technical director.
Once you open and dilute the extract, definitely use it up promptly, but the opened bottle is not an issue.
I've been using the stuff since 2012 and have not seen a degradation issue.

This is for the ready solution you made.

That isn't clearly mentioned, and the way it's formulated is rather ambiguous. They could be referring to either, since the rest of the explanation does refer to potential clogging of drip irrigation lines, so it could be referring to an open bottle in a commercial setting.

You are right Camille, it's a little bit confusing. But as said before I got this information direct from a guy from Kelpak.
