Ya know Subrosa, I forgot about this. And now I remember. Gracias! And actually remember the picture of this cute little Tolumnia teapot from a ways back... remember remarking on it. Not sure if it was on this board or somewhere else.

SO, when you put this Tol in SH, did you bury the roots down in the LECA, or lay it on top and wait for roots to go down? Or even remember at this point...

I get so concerned about letting the roots dry out, that with most I laid them on top. The two that I actually buried the roots in the LECA are doing well. The rest continue to struggle. Having an uprising of scale on them this winter that I didn't notice right away sure didn't help matters. Several didn't recover from the cure and I'll likely toss them... too far gone to mess with. Ugh. I love these little Tolumnia, but they sure don't care much for me.

I definitely buried what roots were there.
