Yes. But you might have different varmit problems. Perhaps look at the member map and see who else lives there?

Hi Steve! And I think we're referring to desert-type growing conditions, not so much geographical. And let's not forget ES is an expert at pack rat attacks and survival.

I suspect one desert is as good as another for the op's purposes!

rts306 didn't leave any means of contact. Unless OB members set up the profile to permit other users to message you, it is not possible.
I was on hiatus when this was posted, and not reading messages. Sorry! If rts306 has the same E-mail address, he/she will be notified of this post of mine.
Las Vegas has almost exactly the same climate as Phoenix. It gets snow a little more frequently than we do in Phoenix (about once per ten years here), and averages less summer rain.

rts306 ----- if you're in Las Vegas by now, please say hi to Rick from Pawn Stars, and Rick from Rick's Restorations for me.
I don't know them though hahaha. We just see them on their TV shows in Australia. Very sadly, the grand-dad from Pawn Stars isn't with us anymore. Great shows though.
