Default Minimum temperature?

Well, i've been reading and searching on this forum and firs ray page, but i haven't jet found anything about how low can be the temprature.
This winter some of my orchids (oncidiums, Burragera, Cambria, sorry i don't now all names) are doing just very well on temperatures from 13C(55F) to 18C(65F).
But ther is some mould on the roots, it seems orchids have no problems with that. First i worried about moud.
How do you grow or better on what temperatures, specialy for the orchids that like cold winter?
I will be happy and thankful for any advice!

That temperature range seems fine to me - that's what mine experience in the winter as well. If you are worried about the mold still, I would just use some Physan 20 at 5-10ml per 4L to flush the pots with. Hope that helps some.

Kati, I would suggest letting the plants dry out a little more in between watering during the cold weather. Cold + wet = mold or rotten roots.

Of course, it depends on the type of plants. What do you grow?

If you are planning to stick to S/H culture, the thing to do is warm them up a bit, not dry them out.

In a dry environment - common to homes in the winter - there is greater evaporative cooling of the root zone, so if you are near the lower limit of the plant's liking, the extra cooling might push it too low.

Well, thanks for all your answers.
I'm growing orchids that need cold winter , i don't know all the names, because if you buy in eurpe orchids, on the pot is written orchids mix. But i found out that one of them is Miltonidium Kiliana Hawai.
