I use it all the time with no problem, in pots...
I use it all the time with no problem, in pots and S/H. You may need to make little ones out of big ones with a hammer, and it wicks as good as clay.

Sorry I can't say anything more than I've seen some phaps in it, and they all looked happy. One had a spike on it. To me, it's more like water culture than S/H. Makes a nice display!

New member jumping in. I have a Landate that I set outside in the summer also, and this happens all the time. I think their after the sap. As long as they don't eat the plant it think it will be OK....
