Problematic MMM 'Witchcraft', new questions

It was from a commercial nursery, one that I've ordered quite a few orchids from and for the most part have been very happy with. But no, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, and I was quite...

Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft' high new growth
I've just received a Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft', my first catasetum type, and I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with it - it has a small new growth, but it's very high up on the...

Rotting leaves on new dendrobium cane
For some reason the leaves on one of the new canes on this dendrobium are rotting; the plant is otherwise healthy, including a second, smaller new cane. Presumably the rot means this cane is a loss,...

My first catt - how to handle a poor potting situation
My first cattleya arrived last week, and I'm in a bit of a conundrum about it. Its two most recent growths are completely out of the pot, it's got plenty of exposed roots from older growths as well,...

Paphiopedilum - new growth?
I have this paph whose bloom died off in March, and I know they're often very slow growers but it hasn't done anything since (it did suffer from a little sunburn, so I've been assuming that set it...

Clumps of yellow balls of fungus on medium surface
A new day, a new discovery. Today it's clumps of small yellow balls of fungus (presumably) on the surface of my dendrobium's medium. Does anyone know what this is specifically, and whether it's...
