Nice pic! Those are hover flies, couldn't tell you the species though, they are a bee mimic but harmless. Some species are even beneficial in that the larvae eat insect pests.

My Bulbophyllum propinquum finished flowering and I manage to get some decent pictures. This is a small species, each flower is about 1/3 inch long, inflorescence is about 4"....

Ya I'm not too keen on the name change. I think the large nectar spur and flowering/plant habit is enough to keep it in it's own genus. But I'm not taxonomist :)
