There are two more spikes that are developing. This helped minimize the amount of courage that I needed to remove the first spike (which was damaged anyway). Thank you for your response.

Laelia anceps 'Pink Beauty' HCC/AOS

One flower on a spike that seemingly took forever to mature. I do like the colors, and it does have a very nice, light scent if you get your nose close to it. Hopefully more blooms next year.
