Apparently the pyramidal orchids
Anacamptis pyramidalis not only mimic the color of neighboring flowers that provide nectar to the Hover Fly
Eristalis tenax, but it also uses scent in the form of phermones to confuse the male Hover fly and get it to attempt to mate with the flower.
