Interesting article but the picture isn't Platanthera obtusata. It's Platanthera dilatata and that species doesn't have anything like a human scent. It has a very strong, sweet scent. They ought at least to get the photos right on a science website.
I hope that was just a stupid mistake and that the magazine actually carefully checks to make certain everything is peer-reviewed and takes a good look at the work done before publishing. Some studies have shown that some publications are not very careful when ascertaining the validity of the science behind their articles.
