What does "memoria" indicate?
I hope this is the right forum, I wasn't sure--I sometimes see this word in the names of hybrids and am not sure what it means--a combination of various species perhaps?--I appreciate any enlightenment--

"Memoria" is followed by someone's name - the plant has been named in memoriam for that person.

The word "Memoria" is used when an orchid is named in honor of someone who is deceased.
