My orchids only like Death Metal. I don't like it much but I got to give the plants what they want.

JK I don't play music for my plants I know lots of studies have been one on it. Mine are around lots of noise so I think that counts.

I've never tried it. I don't own a radio. I can't get my act together to put on itunes when I am playing with my orchids.

I don't know particularly how music affects orchids, but apparently it might for one plant - Codariocalyx motorius, (aka The Dancing Plant/The Telegraph Plant).

Since my plants are inside they don't really get to experience the "outdoor feel". I have been playing bird songs from Youtube. There are many on there, here is one that lasts 11 hours. Very relaxing!

I have in the past thought that maybe the sound vibrations in the air molecules might speed up the diffusion of co2 molecules into the plant and therefore speed up growth. Probably not i suppose but it would be a good excuse to play music!
