I have one named Oncidium Space Race "Coco"
It's in spike so expect some pictures sometime, but don't hold your breath, it seems to be a slow grower. I think it would have lost the space race to Oncidium Space Race "Moscow."

I think I understand your reservations about this name. However, while it may be a racist term when used about a person, it remains but a word when used as a name for an orchid. And, it is a perfectly legitimate word in many languages, where it usually refers to the color black.
Thus, when you use the full and formal name for this hybrid (ie Dendrobium Negro), I do not feel that it is inappropriate in this isolated context.
I tried to check it through OrchidWiz. While OW can find it in a direct search, it does not come up when I search on the originator (who has 16 other Dendrobium hybrids named from 2008 through 2012).
Since all the hybrid names are typical English names, I have to assume that originator was familiar with the 'negative' associations this name would generate (even though originator name looks Japanese to me). I would be curious to see a photo of the flower, so I might consider whether there are some characteristics that justify the selection of this name.

Black orchid. The ones with this name came with black with a little red hue, black with brown hue and very dark purple. At first i just googled black dendrobium to find the name of the orchid, then found it by the name of dendrobium negro. Then i gooled again den.negro and more of the same exact pop out on several sites. Some just sell it as black dendrobium.

Based on that photo, I would say that the name is justified - even if some would find it in somewhat bad taste.
This is similar to Cymbidium Little Black Sambo. I know that some find that name offensive, but it is actually a character in a classic childrens book, and he is the hero of the story (tricking a bunch of lions or tigers). I have not read it in abt 58 years, so I am a bit hazy on the details.
