After adjusting for whichever scale you have it set to, divide by 10 for a rough approximation. Or if you have it on x10 scale, read the number directly as approximate fc.

Or use google's calculator and conversion feature:
enter: 1000 lux to fc
in the search box and google will convert.

1000 lux =
92.9030436 footcandles

1 lux to fc
1 lux =
0.0929030436 footcandles
