Gower Ramsey has three species in its background:
Gomesa flexuosa
Gomesa varicosa
Oncidium sphacelatum
since none of these has ever been classified as a Cyrtochilum, Gower Ramsey can't legitimately be called a Cyrtocidium. Oncidesa is the correct name.
the confusion seems to arise from listings which incorrectly show one of the parents as Cyrtocidium Goldiana (Cyrtochilum cimiciferum x Oncidium sphacelatum). The parent registered with the RHS is Oncidesa Goldiana (Gomesa flexuosa x Oncidium sphacelatum)
