Hey smartie2000 or any other molecular biologist,

Do you know what promoter they use to express the luciferase gene in the dendrobium plant? I would think that it would be a universal promoter, something like the tobacco mosaic virus promoter, since it looks like it is expressed in all tissue types. In mammalian expression systems the CMV promoter is good for protein expression, but I am not familiar with plant systems.
