UPDATE: for those of you still following me on this little adventure...
So I'm a little late in posting these pics, since I deflasked the little guys over a month ago. So far so good, and only a few casualties. I can spot new root growth on a few of the plantlets. You can see from the second last pic that I had TONS of plants, of varying sizes.
These are the laelia lucasiana seedlings and I will now say that I will NEVER again make 6 replate flasks...jeez! The barkeria seedlings I deflasked several months ago and mounted on cork, and seem to be doing OK, putting out several post-deflask roots. Since we're entering winter here, most are going a bit dormant.
