Induce keiki from cut section of spike. Substitute for moss?
Default Induce keiki from cut section of spike. Substitute for moss?
I have a phal that had a spike that broke this morning. I tried to salvage it by cutting it to the last bloom and putting the flowering part of the spike in water, then I am left with a section with a node on it. I have seen that a keiki can be induced by putting the section in sphagnum moss, but I don't have any. Can I just use paper towels?
