How should i start cuttings off an established plant? Lay in spaghnum? soak in seaweed to get it growing?

I haven't grown that plant, but I have its relative prenticei. I would soak the whole parent plant a few hours to overnight in seaweed solution, cut a piece in active growth, and pin or tie it on top of a small amount of moss. I would grow it mounted on a piece of wood.
