Green Pod for Dry Seed?
Default Green Pod for Dry Seed?
I have a pod that came on an imported plant, so I do not know how old the Pod is, and when it will dehisce. I want dry seed, so I can store it for later use.

Is it safe to harvest a Green Pod, and place it in a dessication chamber (DampRid, 30%RH) to try to collect dry seed?

Or is it best to keep waiting, hoping to catch the pod cracking to collect dry seed?
