Question How long will they take to germinate?

Hi all

I made some flasks with dendrobium unicum, dendrobium christyanum, cymbidium dayanum, aerides crassifolia and some self-pollinated noid cattleya seeds about a week ago. Now I'm of course ridiculously impatient and waiting for hints of green in the flasks. It's not the first time I'm doing this, but it's equally exciting every time.

These are new species to me, and I'm curious how long I'll have to expect to wait. Is there an overview/list of expected germination period for different species?

I know I've seen something similar with estimates regarding how long it takes for a seed pod to mature, but I can't remember ever seeing info on app.how long it takes for seeds to start forming protocorms.

Anybody?

I use a lab for my pods. Pods sent in from June-Oct 2014 are ranging from good germination/ready to replate, to just starting to germinate now (= 8-10 months).
