Default Paph gratrixianum seed capsule
Hi guys,

I bought this gratrixianum about a month ago. It has two spikes, one with a bud that keeps getting bigger and is growing happily. The other one is different though - is it a seed capsule? The plant is happy and growing three new fans.

That is just an ovary which recently lost a flower.
Depending on the plant, this ovary can stay looking fresh for over a month before dropping off.
You know it will be a seed pod when it grows bigger slowly.
Watch and find out what happens.

He has the best plants. Wide range also. Ordered a few vanillas to collect at the show in may and last year a few other oddities

Oh he gave us a private tour of the greenhouses - I asked him if I could stay for ever it was so beautiful! And agreed, wonderful happy plants at good prices too!

I have never visited him would shure love to go, love his phrags. Am going to plantae in november though which i cant wait for, buying some rare paphs you see
