Hi Judi, Thanks for letting me know you had the same issue with contamination using these type containers.

I have a few more baby food jars also I can use but have almost run out of them now so I will have to ask around and see if I can get some more. I had my daughters friend save me some but now she's eating regular food so I have to find another source to get my hands on some.

I am also thinking of getting some pint size jars or jelly jars with lids and try those.

Just a note on plastic containers that work well for me, medical sample jars or specimen sample cups. They come in different sizes and can be put in pressure cooker without any melting or mis-forming.

I buy mine in something similar to Wallmart here in Namibia. They're cheap and readily available here at least.

Thanks for the idea I have to see if they sell them here in the USA for sale at Walmart.
