Hi everyone!
I recently received my first orchid and I've been obsessed with them ever since

I even took on the challenge of trying to save a Phal with crown rot. It had no leaves but a relatively good root system and some flower spikes. I did some research and found out that if repotted I could get a keiki if I'm lucky. I also came across information about growing keikis from the nodes, using coconut water.
So, I sprinkled some cinnamon on the crown, repotted the plant, cut the spikes of and put some nodes in a jar with coconut water.
Unfortunately, the roots rotted further and the plant died

The nodes kind of "melted" in the coconut water

I have just one node left, it's been sitting in the coconut water for almost 2 weeks now and I don't see significant growth. Is it too soon?
