Is it a natural keiki upcoming?
I have been told to put vaseline jelly on it to protect it from dry. I done it on one of my phals should i do this on it to?

What is the reason for the vaseline? I would think it would cut off oxygen and damage it! I am so hoping for a keiki from my prolific phal, so need to know how to encourage it.

The reason for the vaseline is to protect from dry and to copy the kekipro paste which based on citokinie who very close to vaseline.
Also orchid keikei doesnt breath themselves they get oxygen from the mother plante.

Looks like a keikei to me. Did you do anything different to get this plant to make one?

Actually no you can see in anoter post of mine that I rescued him three months ago from garbage and repoted before a less then a month while removed half of the dead roots for my surprise it also had two helthy roots that were 20 cm and not just the others that got half rotten.

Thank you! Very interesting! I've never had a keiki form, that I know of, and so had not even thought of this potential. My orchid room does not have high humidity, so this might be something to consider doing if I ever have one.

Yay they getting bigger one week past on this without vaseline and the vaseline one 3 weeks.
I received today my keikigrow paste that I ordered month ago should I apply at this stage or it will be useless now? (I think that at this stage. It's after the effect so it useless)

Thats what you did different. It was a trash Flower. So it was very neglected and thought it was going to die so it sent out a keiki due to stress.

Thats awesome that you saved it.

I don't think you need the paste since it is growing on its own. The paste is to get it to that point.
