I have no experience with terrestrial seeds. But i use a 10% solution of peroxide with a tiny drop of dish soap. I let it soak for at least 20 minutes and i only rinse the seeds with sterile water twice before sowing. I get pretty low contamination rates this way and i find the peroxide is less damaging to the seeds. My Aerides seeds that i flasked up recently had a VERY high germination rate with the peroxide but pretty low when done with bleach.
Hope this helps |
