Have you tried P668 and it did not work, then switched to P723? Or always used P723?
I am trying to figure out which I should try for some seedlings, on Phytotechs website P723 is an improvement on P668, with less salt, but how that translates to germination efficiency... Is the question. |

Modified P668 mother flask medium (P669) Our improvement on P668: by adding some B852 banana powder, this formulation prevents the dreaded “brown-out” of protocorms- developing plantlets that turn brown for no good reason. Contains banana, so it’s probably not good for paph germination, but the concentration is low enough that it won’t faze most “robst” paphs. This is what we use for germination at the OSP, along with Western W2.5 or W3 + coconut. US$6.50 per 1 liter pouch. Contains gelling agent. http://www.orchidseed.com/media/media.html |
Thanks! Lots of name and components to choose from it can become a little overwhelming!
