PPM-Plant Preservative Mixture Questions Male
Default PPM-Plant Preservative Mixture Questions

Hi All. I was wondering if any of you flaskers have used the product PPM for seed flasking. If so how do you use it? I was thinking about buying the 30ml bottle to give it a try with my next flasking attempt.

Also are there any alternatives. Especially cheaper ones?
Thanks in advance

Josh

Your very welcome. Say have you read the sticky at the top of this page on flasking? I just did, quit good. The one Roby wrote.

I did read it. I was thinking of trying that on one of my next flaskings. I ordered a small bottle of PPM that should be in the mail tomrrow. I'm hoping that will help cut back on contamination from when the flask "breathe" from fluctuations in temperature.

I have some Sedirea Japonica flasks that had some contamination because of temp swings.

Well good luck and I hope you get an answer to your question. I'm not sure why I read this stuff as I am in no way ready if I ever will be to do a flask. I do find it fascinating to read about.

I guess I live though others at times.
