I might sell some when they get a little bigger. Hopefully, people will send me a photo when it blooms....if I do sell any before then.

Please put me on the "to buy" list Jasen.
I never knew either of my "Bumpas" so having a plant with that name would be really neat.
Congrats on the registration!

Add me to the Buy/Trade list too! My greenhouse looks so empty since I put on the "room addition"!

wow, that's really cool and for sure a big honor for both your grandpa and your grandma
just a question, as had different information... Is it possible to register now a new Hybrid without having bloomed first? I thought you would need to submit flower pictures in order to register it first... That makes things a lot nicer for my current ongoing project I have now to plants which I have crossed and both are doing pretty good so far with the pods. both plants have been used as pollen and pod donors to each other, as I did not know which way would work better (different flower size) The cross is not registered yet, and i thought that if I manage to get the plants growing I would like to register honoring my father (from which I absolutelly did not get the green Thumb )

Hi Dorothy, thanks dfor the link I had already read both, and for what I understand on them you need the date of the first flowering (and even a brief descrotion of the flower) in order to register. That's why was a bit surprised to see that the cross in this thread has been accepted without blooming...

Yes Ramon,
You can register it without the photo....I just told them I'd send a photo when it bloomed. Besides, siblings usually look different from eachother, so they can't be to picky about pictures. The pic you send may look totally different from half of the offspring! I just put "N/A" in all the bloom questions.
You just print the application, at the link provided by Dorothy, fill it out, scan it, and email it back with a credit card # ($12.50). You can also mail it, but it will take longer. Then just wait for approval, which only took2-3 days. Then, tah-dah, your a cultivar! Good luck at the registry!
