Deflasked these today. This is a "novelty" cross which usually results in fewer seedlings. I didn't use the "tray" method because of this.

Date pollinated : 1 May 2012
Date flasked : 15 December 2012
Date deflasked : 18 July 2014

Bet everyone here feels the same!

It's a journey!!! And, I can feel how much joy every part brings you! I LUV THIS.

its been 5 months and growth has not been of note at all. Evidently the genetics are not 'compatible' ? Though they may be in process of 'taking off' as they are greening up.
Interestingly ( well, for me ! ) this is made up of 7 species. 4 have @ 1/8 contribution, 1 @ 1/4 , 1 @ 3/16 and last species at about 1/16. Such a composition is pretty rare on the hybrids I have seen/researched and was one of the reasons why I made this specific cross.

You should definitely keep them until they bloom so you can see if you have any award-worthy results. And, so we call all see how these turn out!

Compared to your Nobby's Amy cross, geez they are slow growers! But maybe these wil have the most fantastic flowers of all your crosses.
