A friend of mine recently gave me some Sophrolaelia seeds to try to flask. I flasked them this weekend and saved some seeds to send to you Shirley. Unfortunately, when I looked at them under the microscope I didn't see a single embryo in any of the seeds. I am not sure if they are viable at all. =( I have posted a thread with pictures of the process. It was good practice for me to try it.

On another note: one of my co-workers has individually potted up all of her seedlings and she gave me an updated count of every single one of her seedlings. She has:

62 individual seedlings. She doesn't have any of hers in community pots. I think she was a bit more liberal in not nurturing the very tiny ones. D: I counted up all of mine and this is what I have:

5 (2 large, 3 small)
2. Pot. Paradise Rose ' Fuschia' =
8 (4 large, 4 small)

25 (4 large, 21 tiny/small in compot) Some of these Dressy could probably be potted up individually as well.
4. Harudo Kanzaki 'Volcano Queen' =
17 (2 large, 15 small in compot) The 15 small ones in the compot are really strong looking.
5. Lc. Cariads Mini-Quinee 'Angel Kiss' =
24 (5 large, 19 small in compot) There are some realllly tiny ones in this compot.
6. Lc. Lisa Ann x Oconee Var Chelsey X Blc. Toishie Aoki ' Pizzaz' =
10 (2 large, 8 small in compot)
7. Lc. Angel Hear 'Hlhlmanu' =
9 (4 large, 5 small in compot)
8 Pot. Roys Magic 'Camela' =
10 (2 large, 8 tiny in compot)
So all in all I have 6 community pots that are doing great. All of the ones classified as 'large' are individually potted and I have 24 of them are individally potted. I have a total of
108 seedlings.

Do you by any chance know what the Genus is of 4. Harudo Kanzaki 'Volcano Queen'? Is it Lc or Pot? Is there something on the orginal tag?
