Halee they look so good. I am glad yours are doing well. It says Night time temps should be 15 degrees lower then day time temps. I know that is for adults but not sure about the babies if its the same.

Mine seem to be getting a little bit bigger each day and I have noticed new roots growing on the Potinara Roys Magic!~

Hi Halee, Mine are also doing well. I did have 6 that didn't make it and 1 is right now in question, it could go either way for it. How are the girls orchids from work doing?

They are both doing well. Here are some pictures from Ellie's largest ones, which she potted up individually.




Are yours turning purple? I read on the American Orchid Society that purple/reddish is a sign of heat stress/too much light. I am worried mine might be getting too much light, because mine are very purple. What do yours look like? Mine are under a 4 bulb, 4 foot, T5HO fixture for 12hrs a day. Maybe its too intense?

Most of mine are purple looking like this one:

Wow look at Arial root on the pizzaz. Its so long. I to read something about turning reddish purple was to much light. But not enough to sunburn it. Can you lower the plants a little more or adjust the height of the lights?

So attach the pictures! I want to see how yours look. You haven't posted any pic of your setup or seedlings planted up yet.

And I was surprised by that arial root too. Very big. She said she waters with rain water, maybe that helps.

Wow! Yours look wonderful! They look so green and healthy. I definitely think mine got too much light after having looked at yours. :/ And maybe I'm watering mine too much too lol. I'm going to cut back on both the water and light for the next week and see how they do. Thanks for the pics. =)
