I no doubt believe you that having everything in order prior to flasks arriving is the way to go. I've sent some seeds to lab however so far none have germinated though I do have two pods maturing...maybe they'll have better results. But I figured at first news of germination - even if it takes a year - I want to start planning. Thanks for sharing your experience to support this.

Thanks for all your encouragement and your support and yes I to love all the pictures and information I have gathered here on OB. Its made time for me to find time and love something again my orchids. They are something I am very proud of. Since I didn't kill them in a years time I am doing good...

Guess up next is going to get some mini Phal seeds with a name and flower I like and get to work.. 2 years can be a long time on a project your not doing anything with yet. LOL

I am glad to be one that have giving you the motivation to get up and try this. It is very exciting and so educational. I would love to also watch your project come to life and see you deflask some orchid seedlings and see them grow for you.
