I have high hopes for variations in colour in siblings.
This is the pollen parent. K S Happy Eagle.
( you can imagine why I was surprised at the patterning in the first bloom !!! )

Congratulations, that's very pretty!

I can see why it was a surprise definitely. Like someone else said I like the lip too. Great job!

Any spikes on any others?

no spikes on any others. I have added 1/2hr to light time and also another T5 bulb into the fixture as from last week. Temps have raised about 8f during the day as a result. Range is now about 80f tops to 69f low. Hoping that this has a spiking impact on this cross as well as the other seedlings I have that are overdue for spiking.

still in bloom a month later. Unfortunately no sign of any other spikes. It has retained its sweet-smelling scent, every morning without fail.

another sibling bloomed. Totally different ! if anyone needed evidence for the variability in seedling siblings, this is it.
