Thank you Leafmite and Hagfish for your replies. It is indeed greatly appreciated. Besides the Gardenia, I believe Orchids are so beautiful and they give me a great deal of peace and contentment just looking at them grow and bloom. Sundays, after work, I look forward to watering them, cleaning their leaves and making sure everything is OK with them. My livingroom and dining room look like a greenhouse with plants I've had a lot of success with but being an Orchid owner is a bit intimidating, and I am determined to succeed with them, too, with lots of information/support from this group. And such a nice group it is.

LIB;
Be happy for now a new leaf isn't as good as a flower; but it is better than a dying plant.

You will develop what is known as KSA that's Knowledge, Skill and Ability.

Try putting the one were it can get a little cooler at night and watch what happens.

Remember defeat only happens when you decide to give up.

This is what I was told by a mentor some 45 years ago when I started.
