I will keep trying. I've applied the stuff at all different times and temps.. still no luck. Could water quality or fertilizer make a difference? It's said that the keiki paste can be used on other species as well, I've tried it on a few bulbo's and a coryanthes and didn't notice and difference. I like experimenting. Has anyone else tried the stuff on different species?
The main hormone in keiki paste is BA in high dose. In simple words, this hormone is used to stimulate cells division, buds, and flowers. It can be used to get new buds, flowers and plants. I try it on Phal and Den and get flower spikes (unfortunately not keiki). I try it on lucky bamboo to get more buds. I didn't try on AV but my friend did and he got new AV. I believe that it will work with other plants. I also try BA and NAA hormone in vitro to stimulate root and callus propagation depend on ratio between BA and NAA. Cheers.
