Default Phalaenopsis leaf on spike with bud

Has anyone seen this before? Am I growing a new Phalaenopsis?

Looks like a keiki. Continue with good care and it will grow and throw out some roots. When the roots are 3 inches/7.5 cm (combined length), you can pot it up.

I thought it may be one, but I was under the impression that they grew out of the base. I'm happy that it may be one. Funny thing is, this one was one of my free ones!

Yep, a kieke, they can grow out of the base, or from the nodes in the inflorence, where yours is.
