this one developing nicely. Looks like it will only have 3 blooms, but the spike may yet grow on. Only 1 other with a spike - but its very slow growing, hardly noticeable.

my cellphone camera doesn't do it justice. Its a pale gold colour and glistens in sunlight. Its different to most phals I have seen........in a nice way.

Congratulations! Who knows, subsequent flowerings may have even deeper, richer colors!

I gather that its not that popular ! It is much better in real life. I think I will take another pic using a dark background as it does appear washed out....and up....
I expect a range of blooms if the differing leaf foliage is any indication......

I didn't mean it that way, but what is the parentage again?
I was just thinking Nobby's Amy sibbing or something for some reason and instantly just imagined pale pink with some yellow at the center.

I have a big NOID Phal that has that kind of color. It is really cool and very different. I love it. A better photo would be nice.

ok - so I used a rose-tinted lense ( ) for the new pic.
The other parent is Liu Tuen-Shen which is a spotted yellow. This bloom is more Nobby's Amy shaped with LTS colouring.
