Have your Sedira capsules reached maturity? (I think that's what you meant, and not the Cyps?) Hope they germinate soon... How long is that supposed to take?

The Sedirea capsules are almost two months old, and they look like they're close to ready. I've still not been able to find any info on how long they take to ripen. I'm going to harvest them when they start to yellow, but before they split. The Cyp medium did not gel for some reason, so I need to add some agar and resterilize. I'm not sure how long it will be before I see germination once I sow the flasks.

Is there any status you can provide on your Sederia? Have you found any information on how to tell when a Neofinetia seed pod is ripe?
Thank you for any update you can provide.

I just flasked one of the (green) Sedirea capsules a couple days ago, and am waiting for germination. There is another capsule on the same plant, so if I botched the first attempt I can try again.
About the Neo capsule time, earlier in this post someone replied with a time of 165 days.

Thank you for the update. Yes, I clicked on the link posted earlier: 165 days was the time listed from fertilization, to green pod. From there the information shows 139 days to seed maturation. That is how I interpret the data.
I was hoping I can get a live person's experience with this process. I have three Neofinetia plants that have seed pods but I do not know when they were fertilized. And when they would be ready for harvest.
