With a single rootless Onc backbulb that has no leaves, it is not likely to make it. You could still try.

It is more likely to occur if the single Onc backbulb had leaves intact and some roots. I've had it work for me without any special setups.

Even a single rootless Onc backbulb with leaves worked out fine with no special setups.
