Chainsaw required? - Semi-hydro success story

You know how people always say, "you'll need to divide that with a chainsaw"? Well... I didn't take pictures (I should have), and I didn't use a chainsaw only because I was afraid that Ray's prime-agra would destroy the chain. I did however use a large drywall saw and a lot of elbow grease to take apart my specimen Slc (or whatever the heck it is now) Tutenkhamun 'POP' this evening. Had to do something, since I ran out of bigger sizes of semihydro pots to move it to. I did make a bigger one out of a 5 gallon plastic trash can, but when I went to repot I realized that the plant had grown in a way that wasn't going to work... So I took it apart.

This is the plant that I've won the show trophy at our local show two (three?) years in a row with, and got a CCM with. Not sure when that was, I lose track of time. Guess I'll have to let somebody else have the trophy this year. If anybody want to win their own show trophy in a few years, I'll be happy to sell you a division (I have several!). Then contact Ray and buy the biggest semihydro pot you can find and a large bag of prime-agra, and take a quick step back before it knocks you over. *grin*

Yeah, I'm not very organized. I have one or two, but where they are is not easy for me to figure out!

Wow - sounds like fun (not!) hehe, but does sound like an extremely happy plant - hope you can find a pic for us! I bet it will be back to monster size in no time!

Tht must be one truely awesome plant! A shame to have hacked it a part, but if there's no bigger pots...... And a good way to contain the monster before it takes over!
