I have found various listings as the time it takes. However based on my exerience with Sch, tibicinis---it takes about 2-3 weeks for the pod to mature and then explode. Most books list longer times---up to 6-8 months.
I hope you have pleny of headroom for your plant. Ours put out sprays up tp 10 feet long . The long way we could accomodate this was to move it outdoors. We also got rapid germination from the pod.----once planted on agar medium---we had gemination within one week and the plants began to try to crawl out of the flask after 1 year,

Another way to accomplish this is to compile our own list from what we can report about our own efforts.
I'm specifically searching for ripening times for Mc (Schomb.) tibicinis x self.
Also for Broughtonia sanguinea pod parent crossed with a Cattleya. (If I recall Broughtonia matures very quickly.)
Thanks in advance,
