Smile a rookie with a question

Hi there, like I said, I'm a rookie, & I've repotted before, I just always put the plants into bigger pots. This time, I came across a very pleasant surprise when examining my Odontocidium Wildcat "Lorene". It has not 1 but 2 new shoots on it & I would like to know the safest way to separate this pretty little family without destroying it!
I find it hard to believe that 2 years ago that I was afraid to own an orchid because I thought that I'd kill it immediately & now my office is filled with the plants in different stages of growth. I have definitely gotten bitten by the bug! So someone please help me!

I dont entirely know what you mean by shoots. Could you post a pic. If it's a new growth, as I suspect, I wouldn't recommend you split it up unless the orchid has just overgrown your growing area and you're looking to make 2 smaller ones. Either way, looking forward to helping!

Hello and welcome.
As a general rule orchids like to be underpotted. As others have said, if this is a new growth it would be better to just leave it alone.
