Phalaenopsis Capsule
Default Phalaenopsis Capsule

Hi again..

I have a pahls capsule cutted (on the 5th month of pregnancy) and it is still green.

1st i want to ask you how i have to keep it "alive". In fridge will be ok ?

2nd Is it ready (mature) to sow its' seeds ?

3nd Can i cut it in the middle and use only one piece this time and another day use the rest?

Thanks..

1) yes

2) many phalaenopsis seeds is mature in 6 months, and after 4 or 5 months (immature seed) are ready for sowing, in some cases, happened that after 9 months was not yet mature (Phalaenopsis Hieroglyphica).
It is better to wait to become yellow pod

3) yes, but if you use them after cutting, you must sterilize the seeds
