I am curious as to where everyone gets their supplies from. From medium to erlenmyer flasks to stoppers and such. I know of photo tech, but I didn't know if there where any others out there to shop online. Thanks!!!

A great place for medium and seeds is the OSP (orchid seed project). Even living in Europe I ordered my medium from them, and they were very helpful when I wasn't sure what medium was best for my Catt seeds.

For the rest of the equipment I can't help you. I'm working in the Plant Science group of my university, and get all the stuff I need from the lab, and do my sowing there.

Hey Joshua,

I use OSP whenever I can & PhytoTech if I must. For other supplies (small tools, stoppers, etc.) I found a few lab supply places online with a quick search. Places that cater to teachers for classrooms often have reasonable prices or at least smaller quantities.

For glassware, scalpels, blades, and that kind of thing, I use indigo.com

For media and such, I use Phytotechlab.com

For culture vessels, I use baby food jars and mason jars with lids from Phytotech.

I get Magenta B-Caps from the Home Tissue Culture Group Org site. They have the best prices and shipping on those.

OSP for media. I'm testing OSP's new, next generation M1 media now. It's not for sale yet but will be soon.
