Default PH and TDS

I was woundering if there is anyone out there that might know of the best ph and tds for getting the best growth rate out of your plants mainly Cattleya or their relatives or maybe any write ups on PH and tds thing and differant growth rates.

For most plants (orchids included) that don't have specific pH needs, the target is to have the pH between 5.5 and 6.5. That's the range were most nutrients are available at their optimal level.

As for TDS, can't help you there, I learned about fertilization schemes for 'normal' plants!

Thanks for the info i am woundering more for the tds and if there have been any studys on the growth rate in cattleys . You are right about the ph most plants love a ph of 6.5 but there is alway exceptions.
