Propogating from old dendrobium stems

I have just built a greenhouse and dont have many orchids right now, but I do have a dendrobium that just finished flowering from a new stem with 6 old leggy stems that dont look like they are any use, and would like to take a shot at propogating some new plants from them.
Can I cut them and grow new plants from them and does anyone know of some photos of this procedure, I dont know the terms describing the parts of the plant like most of you, so a text description is not much good to me, I do learn well though.
