Default just pollinated

I just pollinated Den. chrysotoxum x peguanum .I was woundering if they are breedable , I watched the owner of H and R this fall talk about Dendrobiums and he was saying that a lot of Dens aren't breedable they mainly have to come from the same area or they won't take or produce noviable seed.

Dendrobiums are divided into distinct groups. If they're in the same group, they are likely to be compatible. If they're in different groups, there's no way to tell but try and wait. I'll cross my fingers for you.
