Default Unexpected Problem With My Flasks

When learning to do lab work I was never told protocorms weren't the only thing that liked the warm lights.

I'm not generally scared of snakes, but I was going through these flasks, picking them up one by one, and checking to see how everything was doing. I was pretty startled. He got tossed into the yard. Probably had a good laugh.

Is that a DeKays snake? They're tiny, even as adults.

If that snake stays that small and isn't venomous, that's gotta be so cool!

Snakes are awesome animals. I used to read volumes about them.

I'd love to keep one of those slug eating snakes or some small arboreal colubrid, like those Cat's Eye Snakes or whatever their common name is.

Unfortunately the upkeep of sending them to a vet to keep them disease free and healthy is out of my price range right now.

I don't know what kind it is. I only knew it wasn't poisonous because of its head.
